At Home in Haus Tirol

We bought Haus Tirol in september 2007. Haus Tirol is situated in Brixen im Thale, between Westendorf and Kirchberg. With an extraordinairy skiing area right in front of the house it did not take us a lot of time to realize that this was the place where we could start our dream: a cosy and comfortable hotel in Austria where everybody would feel at home from the very first moment.

We will do our upmost to turn your stay into an unbelievable holiday. And with our ski-in, ski-out possibilities, our cosy ‘Kellerbar’ (bar), Stube (restaurant) and indoor swimming pool and sauna we have the best start you could wish for!

Let us introduce ourselves…

We are Frank Bouwhuis and Emiek van der Vijgh. Together with Oscar, our Berner Sennen dog, and our 2 cats Jimmy and Lucky we are ,how they call it here ‘Familie Bauhaus’.

We are both big fans of the mountains. Every day we enjoy the beautiful nature with all its possibilities for hiking and mountainbiking. Moreover, the summers are nice and warm here, so we can lie around in the sun and relax a lot!
